Beside the Delft central station, there was an open patch of land (not sure if there still is - it is supposed to be developed into housing in the future) where the city grew a fairly sizeable field of tulips in the spring.

Once they had all bloomed, they allowed people to pick some for 1 euro. Naturally, I picked a few and grabbed this cutie twirly guy with lots of personality.
​
The tulip field was decimated within the day.
