Louis is my favourite cafe in Amsterdam. If you visit, you may not see anything particularly special about it compared to other Dutch cafes, but their appeltaart is to die for - and if you’re lucky you’ll see the cafe cat, Louis, sleeping in the window or hanging out on the bar.
