While living in Delft, I lived one street over from a canal street. In my opinion, Buitenwatersloot is one of the cutest and prettiest streets in Delft. When I
first moved, I never went down this street since it wasn’t the most bike-friendly, but when I started walking around my neighbourhood more (mostly to look for neighbourhood cats to pet while I missed my cat back in Canada) I found this street that became a quick favourite.

This is one of the many beautiful houses along the street - this one featuring vines and roses creeping up the exterior. Just when you thought the roses and vines got out of control, the house owner created a vine arch across the small path, meeting a tree on the other side that bordered the canal.
